Terms of Service

Zanzibar Women Football Club ("ZWFC", "we", "us", "our") operates the website zwfc.tz and related services including the member portal, donation platform, and ticket sales. We are based at Maisara Sports Complex, Zanzibar, Tanzania. Contact: karibu@zwfc.tz.

You may use zwfc.tz for lawful purposes only. You agree not to:

• Use the site in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the site, admin panel, or member portal
• Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information in any form
• Use automated tools to scrape, crawl, or spam the website
• Impersonate ZWFC, its staff, or any other user

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for anyone who violates these terms.

Eligibility: Membership is open to anyone aged 16 or over. Users under 18 must have parental or guardian consent.

Account responsibility: You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. Do not share your password. Notify us immediately at membership@zwfc.tz if you suspect unauthorised access.

Accuracy: You must provide accurate and truthful information when creating your account. ZWFC reserves the right to suspend accounts with false information.

Cancellation: You may cancel your membership at any time by contacting us. No refunds are issued for the current billing period.

Payment processing: All payments are processed by Pesapal via Oyaah Events (operated by Zanziholics Digital Agency). By making a payment, you also agree to Pesapal's terms of service.

Fee transparency: All payments are subject to a Pesapal processing fee (3.5%) and a platform infrastructure fee (8% + 15% VAT on the platform fee) which is deducted before funds reach ZWFC. These deductions are clearly documented in our financial records.

Donations: All donations to ZWFC are voluntary and non-refundable except in cases of fraudulent transactions. ZWFC is not a registered charity; donations do not qualify for tax relief.

Membership payments: Membership is billed monthly. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No partial refunds are issued.

Match tickets: Tickets purchased through zwfc.tz or Oyaah Events are non-refundable unless the event is cancelled by ZWFC. In the event of cancellation, refunds will be processed within 14 business days.

The Adopt a Player programme allows supporters to sponsor a specific player's costs. By sponsoring a player:

• You authorise ZWFC to use funds for that player's training kit, transport, and competition costs
• Monthly sponsorships continue until cancelled — notify us at karibu@zwfc.tz to cancel
• ZWFC may reassign funds to another player if the sponsored player leaves the club
• Sponsor names may be displayed on the website with your consent

All content on zwfc.tz — including text, images, logos, graphics, and design — is owned by ZWFC or its licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use our content without written permission, except for personal, non-commercial purposes such as sharing links on social media.

The ZWFC name, crest, and logo are trademarks of Zanzibar Women Football Club.

If you submit content to ZWFC through contact forms, volunteer applications, or messages to players, you grant ZWFC a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use that content for club purposes. You confirm that any content you submit is your own and does not infringe any third-party rights.

zwfc.tz may contain links to third-party websites including Pesapal, Oyaah Events, and social media platforms. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of those sites. Their own terms and privacy policies apply.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ZWFC, its officers, volunteers, and agents are not liable for:

• Any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from use of this website
• Payment failures, processing errors, or delays caused by third-party payment providers
• Temporary unavailability of the website or member portal
• Loss of data due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control

Our total liability to you in any circumstances shall not exceed the amount you paid to ZWFC in the 3 months preceding the claim.

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of Tanzania. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Tanzania.

For dispute resolution, we encourage you to contact us first at karibu@zwfc.tz — most issues can be resolved informally and quickly.

We may update these Terms of Service at any time. The "Last updated" date will reflect changes. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. Significant changes will be communicated to members by email.
