Football for Every Girl in Zanzibar
We take football directly to communities, schools, and villages across the islands — breaking barriers and creating access where it has never existed before.
Football belongs to everyone. But not everyone has equal access to it. In Zanzibar, many girls and women have never had the opportunity to kick a ball in an organised setting — not because they don't want to, but because nobody brought football to them.
Our Community Football programme changes that. We go to where people are — schools, villages, community centres — and we bring the game, the coaches, and the energy directly to them.
No registration fees. No special equipment required. Just football, community, and possibility.
Coaching focused on fundamentals — passing, dribbling, shooting

A full morning of football activities open to all girls aged 10–25 in the Nungwi community. No experience needed.
Limited to 50 participants
📍 Bumbwini Primary School
🕘 8:00 AM – 11:00 AM
ZWFC coaches visit Bumbwini Primary to run football skills sessions for female students.
Limited to 40 participants
Sessions are free and open to all girls. No registration required unless stated.
